Terapi Perilaku Kognitif (CBT) untuk Menurunkan Kecemasan pada Remaja

Remaja berhadapan dengan beragam tuntutan dan tekanan dari lingkungan, seperti tuntutan akademis, dinamika pergaulan sosial, maupun ekspektasi dalam keluarga. Berbagai permasalahan dalam keluarga merupakan dintara faktor yang sangat memengaruhi psikologis remaja. Bagi remaja yang tidak mampu untuk mengahadapi hal tersebut akan berpotensi mengalami kecemasan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji seberapa efektif intervensi berbasis CBT untuk menurunkan kecemasan pada remaja. Pendekatan kuantitatif kuasi eksperimen dengan desain the one group pretest and posttest design digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Partisipan yang terlibat dlam penelitian ini adalah 8 orang siswa SMA X dengan karakteristik memiliki kecemasan dan distorsi kognitif terkait dengan permasalahan keluarga. Pengukuran menggunakan Beck Anxiety Index yang terdiri dari 21 aitem. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa ternyata terdapat efektivitas intervensi berbasois CBT dalam menurunkan kecemasan pada siswa SMA X dengan signifikasni sebesar 0,012 p< 0,05). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa CBT memiliki efektivitas dalam menurunkan kecemasan pada remaja.
