Integrasi Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) Dan Problem Based Learning Dalam Pembelajaran Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Siswa

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji integrasi model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dan Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang disebabkan oleh proses pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru dan kurang mengaitkan materi dengan kehidupan nyata. Pendekatan CTL memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menghubungkan materi dengan konteks kehidupan sehari-hari, sedangkan PBL menekankan pada kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan melalui proses berpikir kritis, analitis, dan kolaboratif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan menganalisis berbagai sumber relevan seperti jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan hasil penelitian terdahulu yang berkaitan dengan CTL, PBL, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif-analitis untuk menemukan pola keterkaitan antara kedua model pembelajaran tersebut. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi CTL dan PBL dapat menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna, aktif, dan kontekstual. CTL membantu siswa memahami konsep melalui pengalaman nyata, sedangkan PBL melatih siswa dalam mengidentifikasi masalah, merumuskan solusi, dan mengambil keputusan secara sistematis. Dengan demikian, integrasi kedua model ini berpotensi secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa di berbagai jenjang pendidikan.
