SISTEM PENDIDIKAN DI MESIR

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan sistem pembelajaran dan kurikulum yang berlaku di Mesir, khususnya pendidikan dasar Taman Kanak-Kanak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan studi pustaka. Tujuan utama pendidikan prasekolah adalah untuk membantu anak-anak mengembangkan kecerdasan umum mereka dan meningkatkan kemampuan dan kapasitas mereka. Minat masyarakat mesir menyekolahkan anaknya ke TK swasta 10%, TK negeri 18%, KB 58% dan lain-lain (les privat/tidak sekolah, dll) 18%. Jabatan Guru KG Negeri adalah wajib memiliki sekurang-kurangnya gelar sarjana dengan peminatan pendidikan dan pengembangan anak usia dini. Persiapan guru PAUD di tingkat universitas berlangsung selama empat tahun (8 semester) dan siswa harus menghadiri kelasnya setiap hari. Fakultas Pendidikan, Universitas Kairo, menyediakan Program Diploma Profesi untuk mengembangkan keterampilan guru anak usia dini.
